The gut microbiome in pregnancy and pregnancy complications

During gestation, the female body undergoes a number of changes; accordingly, her microbiota also marked changes throughout duration pregnancy. Some shifts in microbial community are imprinted even before pregnancy and may affect woman's ability to conceive. Prepregnancy obesity inflammatory bowel disease associated with gestational dysbiosis, as several conditions occurring during pregnancy, including diabetes mellitus preeclampsia. Here, we review complications context gut microbiota, but dysbiosis other communities, those vagina, oral cavity, cervix, is pregnancy-related conditions.
